They are commercial tuna fishermen, charter boat captains, commercial longliners, tournament fishing team members, and offshore & inshore recreational anglers. We sponsor people who are just as passionate about fishing and about being out on the water as we are. They live to fish and a lot of them make their living fishing as well…they’re out on the water constantly...day in and day out; which we all know requires extremely expensive gear, and a lot of it. We love giving them peace of mind by helping them protect that gear as well as making their lives a little easier while they’re out doing what they do best.
We also love to be active in and help the fishing community as much as we can, whenever we can. We are all a part of something so much bigger than ourselves and in the end that’s what fishing is all about - being part of something that is so much bigger than yourself; something that was there before you were; and will still be there long
We also love to be active in and help the fishing community as much as we can, whenever we can. We are all a part of something so much bigger than ourselves and in the end that’s what fishing is all about - being part of something that is so much bigger than yourself; something that was there before you were; and will still be there long after you’re gone. Something we are all a part of. Fishermen help fishermen…we are the kind of people who can go from strangers one day to the best of friends the next, and there aren’t many communities or anything at all like that anymore; where everyone seems to know everyone. Here are some of our favorite fishy people, feel free to apply by emailing us a little bit about yourself & the links to your main social media accounts.
Our good friend who has not only helped immensely with ideas for the products we sell, but who has also been an open and endless book of knowledge, has a heart of gold, and has always been willing to help me anytime I’ve asked. He has unknowingly taught me so much over the years, and I can’t thank him enough. This company probably wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for him and I hope he knows how much he’s truly appreciated. Besides being one of the best people & funniest guys you could ever meet, he’s also one of the best fishermen I know, holds his USCG 100GT master captains license and fishes commercially for mostly giant bluefin tuna. He works on/has worked on commercial & charter boats such as Destiny, Tuf Guy, Sapphire, Ohana, etc. He is sponsored/Pro-staff of Costa Delmar, DEEP apparel, Shimano, Jigging World, Chatter Lures & featured on fishing podcasts, and anywhere you go atleast two people will know him. As he says, if ya know..ya know”
Doug owns Corazon Fishing Charters; the extremely well known father & son inshore & offshore charter duo out of Freeport New York. Word of mouth will tell you they’re best known for an unforgettable fishing experience of catching not only your personal best fish, but the fish of a lifetime. Doug will keep you in the strike zone your entire trip, keeping you on the fish the entire day. This stems from his background in data analysis as well as years spent on the water, countless hours of research, putting in his time learning and perfecting his skills, and the pure passion and love he has for fishing. He’s been running and working on commercial and charter fishing boats in the Long Island Sound since he was a young kid. He holds his USCG 100GT master captains license, is a published article author in The Fisherman’s Magazine, a Seminar speaker, and is Diawa, Simrad, Set The Hook & FishBites pro staff.

This crew is comprised of all family, who are all incredibly humble, genuine, hard working blue collar commercial fishermen out of Gloucester who live life one fish at a time. They seem to love to teach and help others in any way they can; their social media being honest to a fault, and a portion of their posts are extremely informative as they own up to their own mistakes they’ve made while fishing and talk about the solution they found in hopes to help others avoid making the same mistakes, which as we all know isn’t very common in the world of commercial tuna fishing these days. Not only are they wonderful people, but they are all about family as you’d expect being a family who fishes together. They show the reality of taking the monetary risk thats required to fish for bluefin commercially in hopes of helping others learn as much as they can. They’ll show you the realities of a day in the life of commercial fishing from what it’s like from the moment you leave the dock down to the time you arrive back home. They also all hold their captains licenses and are sponsored/Prostaff of Durabrite Lights, Seadog Line & many other companies. Follow them on YouTube or Instagram to watch their journey as it unfolds from the links below.
Two of the sweetest and most skilled fishy people out there. Most people know them from watching them commercially fish for bluefin tuna for all 13 seasons of Natgeo’s popular show Wicked Tuna. They also run haddock & ground fishing charters, bluefin tuna charters, and own angelica seafoods.

Fishing since he can remember, Steve has always been addicted to fishing and being out on the water. He recreationally fishes out of the CT side of The Long Island Sound with Tuna & Tautog being his two favorite species to catch. He’s been teaching his kids to fish since they could walk it seems; his son helping reel in his first bluefin tuna ever this season at the age of 7. Steve holds his USCG captains license & hopes to run charters next season to hopefully help those who dream of catching their first tuna into a reality. He is extremely knowledgeable about fishing and seems to always be up for learning even more. Follow him on Instagram below.

Joe is not only extremely passionate and knowledgeable about everything and anything that has to do with fishing, boating, and the ocean; he is also one of the most truly kind people I have ever met in my entire life. His kindness isn’t just the normal kind either - it’s the kind that truly touches you & makes you remember that somewhere out there, genuinely good people actually still do exist. If not for the advice & kind words of a then total stranger, you would most likely not be reading this right now & I would still be bartending/dreaming of a way to somehow, someway, & someday work in some aspect of the fishing industry. Joe runs “Reel Fishing Northeast“ and is a huge contributor & advocate in the fight against offshore wind and the industrialization of our oceans. He is also very passionate about saving the right whales, and is a big part of advocating for green oceans, NEFSA, etc. He not only loves every kind of fishing…tuna fishing, offshore fishing, inshore fishing, etc. but he also has a deep love of the ocean & all it has to offer. He spreads awareness & advocates against offshore wind and the building of wind turbines and helps show the reality of all that they have killed and destroyed as much as he can to make as big of a difference as possible. He is one of those people that will show you that there are still people out there who care about our future generations and remind you that truly genuine & good people do still exist, although they are rare to come by.
